Part I

Please reflect on the following questions. Remember to go beyond the surface (dig deep!) and to be honest with yourself:

  • Why are you overweight?
  • Why do you want to lose weight?
  • Why have you been unable to maintain weight loss in the past?

1.I have kept myself so busy taking care of and catering to everyone else then I don't have to focus on myself or be honest about what I am doing. In the past I used food to reward myself for doing such a great job taking care of everyone,and a way to feel nurture myself, cause no one takes care of me.
2. I want to feel good on the inside and look good on the outside. Also I want to live a healthier, more active lifestyle, and I can't do that if I am sitting on the couch all day.
3. To be honest I have maintained in the past, It's only the last 7-8years I have let myself go. There are all kinds of reasons, but not dealing with emotional, and difficult life issues properly, kinda covers most of it.
