Chalean Extreme Results, Day Thirty Something

Dear Boys and Girls,

I wish I could give Chalene all the credit for what I'm beginning to see are fabulous results (excuse my lack of modesty--I am just thrilled!!!). Don't get me wrong, the program rocks! I love it! The workouts are short, under 25 to 45 minutes long, and you are always working out your lower body. What more could a girl ask for?

But, I digress. Chalean Extreme cannot take all the credit. If I am seeing the kinds of results that make me wanna say Hip Hip Hurray, it's because I have once again stepped it up with my eating. I recently contacted Tami French from the message boards for help with my diet. Have you seen her abs? Tami, mother of 4, is ripped!

While I don't particularly want to be ripped (although, hmm, maybe I do), I am, quite frankly, sick and tired of housing a layer of fat on my belly. Tami, I reasoned, must be doing something right, and I bet my life on it that it had to do with her eating.

I was right!

Carb manipulation, she said, was what made her abs pop. She went on to explain the basics. In a nutshell, this is what I've been doing the past week and I'm already seeing very real results:

On resistance days, I take in 30% protein, 40% carbs, and 20% fat. On cardio days, I am sticking to my usual 30% carbs, 50% protein, and 20% fat plan. I use www.fitday.com to track my food intake. I tend to get lazy with food tracking, but, boys and girls, I want the results and am willing to do what it takes.

Did I tell you that I am already beginning to see results?!

When you get to a certain level of fitness, as I've discovered, you sometimes have to refocus and step it up a notch in order to see the extraordinary results. Yup, this time I'm after extraordinary.

Watch me and bring it!

p.s. Thanks, Tami!
