Dear Boys and Girls,
As I neared Day 90 of Chalean Extreme last week, I toyed with the idea of switching things up, of maybe trying a round of P90X Classic. I kind of found myself missing Tony and the kids. But, then I decided, why mess with something that I am thoroughly enjoying and that is working so well for me. Heck, I'm just going to do it again. And just like that, today, I began round 2 of Chalean Extreme.
My goal for this round:
I will, yes, I WILL have a six pack by the end of this round, July 4th.
I have been promising myself a six-pack since last summer. If I did not achieve it, it certainly was not for a lack of trying. It has taken me over a year to lose half an inch off my waist. I'm not joking. It has taken me over a year to drop three pounds, and it all happened in the last two or three weeks of Chalean Extreme.
I knew better than to throw my arms up in frustration. I made sure to celebrate all my gains, even and perhaps especially when I wasn't getting the exact results I was hoping for. Today, at 35, I am the fittest I have ever been and yes, boys and girls, I am only getting better.
So, what's it gonna take for me to get me from where I am to where I want to be?
I will bring it on the mat like I mean it six days a week
I will eat super duper clean six days a week.
Hmm, that's simple enough. I should have just said I'll keep doing what I've always done. I'm ready for even more extreme results!
