ChaLean Extreme TIPS

Hey, Boys and Girls,

For those of you who subscribe to my blog, please check out the actual blog. I have posted a host of documents to help you get started. Only my last post will appear in your inbox.

I completed 10 days of ChaLean Extreme. After two days rest, I will be ready to start the 3 month Chalean Extreme Challenge on Monday, January 5, 2009.

My challenge:

**To get up & workout first thing in the morning.

**I find myself wasting much time in the morning. I vow to shower and get to work right after my morning workout.

**To only have a cheat meal once a week. I will NOT have any cheat snacks during the week. I want my six pack by March 2009.

**To press play 6 times a week, unless I am sick.

**My physical therapist friend and coachee stresses the importance of stretching out your quads before the workout. She feels that the workouts do not include enough of a stretch.

**I find that those who are accustomed to the longer P90X workouts sometimes "save too much" during Chalean Extreme. Don't go crazy, but don't be afraid to push. The workouts are only 35 minutes long. You can go harder. Again, don't kill yourself!

**Newbies: take it easy! The first week is about getting used to the moves.

**If you're using the bands, you might want to get some 5lb and 8lb weights or the Turbo Jam tubing.

**And finally, Have some FUN!
