Want to Learn More About Coaching? I'm Hosting an Online Info Session THIS THURSDAY!

Dear Boys and Girls,

Tomorrow night, Thursday, June 25th, at 8pm EASTERN TIME, I will be hosting an online information session on coaching as an Independent Team BeachBody Coach.

If you enjoy helping others and would like to earn a second income, come see what it is all about.

As I said at last night's meeting at BeachBody Headquarters during my testimonial, I would be doing what I'm doing for free. The fact that I get a "Thank You Check" from the CEO of the company, Carl Deikeler, for helping others get fit is an unbelievable bonus.

Thanks to my income as a BeachBody Coach, I can spend the summer in California without having to worry about finances. And for the first time in my life, I bought a book on investing for retirement.

After seeing so many successful BeachBody coaches around me, I dared to ask, "Why not me?" So, I went for the dream.

Yes, Why not you?

This is a no-pressure meeting. If you'd like attend, do! And if you'd like to be a coach on our team, please get in contact with me so we can get you started on the right foot.

An Honest Look at Network Martketing. What you Need to Succeed as a BEACHBODY Coach

Trump, Kiyosaki Endorse Network Marketing in a New Book Trump, Kiyosaki Endorse Network Marketing in a New Book Dianne Wandruff Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki endorse network marketing together in a book called: Why We Want You to Be Rich.

Read now and commit yourself, because now you know network marketing has come full circle. It's well accepted and even recommended by people who know market trends. Highly respected Robert Kyosaki and Donald Trump know what you should do to establish your family's income for generations.

You can make your commitment to multi-level marketing with extreme confidence.

***

Dear Boys and Girls,

If you've been thinking about becoming an Independent TeamBeachBody Coach, then you have to read this article. I'm not kidding. It could help you make up your mind whether or not to make the jump. If you're already a coach, then you really need to read this. It could help you decide if this is something you want to continue pursuing.

If you think I'm about to tell you that being financially successful as a BeachBody coach is a piece of cake, think again. Nothing worth pursuing is easy. Nothing.

My upline coach, Traci, shared this article with our team. THANK YOU! The article confirmed what I have been feeling for a while: there is nothing more rewarding than doing something you love and getting financially rewarded for it. But, attainment of financial freedom through network marketing takes time, patience, creativity, and persistence. That's a mouthful.

Donald Trump described network marketing in a way that might scare you, but if you're self-driven, it will excite you:

Marketing is a powerful tool, and network marketing can increase that power, provided that you're self-motivated. In a simple visual, see a product and remove the advertising agency from it. It's up to you to do the marketing and advertising for it.

Wow. Talk about speaking succinctly! "...take a product and remove the advertising agency from it." Granted, BeachBody spends about $100 million yearly in advertising. But, it's up to us as coaches to decide how we will share the BB experience with others and that's the hard part for most folks.

I've said this ad nauseum, but it really is worth repeating: I did not become a coach to make a buck. I did it because I wanted to help people. In the process, I have built a successful business. Had I never made more than a few dollars a month, I think the satisfaction I still get from helping others would have made the $15 monthly coaching fee worth it.

I used to get frustrated that BeachBody or somebody (who??!) didn't provide us coaches with a how-to manual on succeeding. Now I understand that there is no precise formula, that we all have to try different strategies to see what works best for us. That said, and this I tell my team members all the time: there are so many tools out there to help you succeed! Team Genesis holds over four webinars and team calls on a weekly basis. So does Team FitRevolution. BeachBody holds webinars, opportunity meetings, etc, and offers great training videos in the back office. It's up to us to decide what we want to do with that information.

Yours in fitness and financial success,

Barbie, PhD

What is the Coach Business Opportunity?

It's a breakthrough income opportunity that lets you turn weight loss into profit. In order to make money, all you have to do is let people know about getting fit and losing weight with Beachbody’s best-selling line of products. You succeed by helping others succeed.

Who is the company behind the Coach Business Opportunity?

Beachbody is a successful 10-year-old, $250+–million corporation based in Southern California. We create and sell the nation’s most popular in-home fitness and weight-loss products – high-quality, well-manufactured DVD workout programs, gear, and nutritional supplements that have been proven to work. When you become a Beachbody Coach, you’re teaming up with a solid, stable company and a best-selling brand

How do I earn money?

You get paid weekly commissions when people buy Beachbody products and Team Beachbody Club memberships through your personal website. You can also earn cash bonuses based on your team’s sales.

What does it cost to begin?

It only costs $39.99 to start a Beachbody business. That includes your first month’s Business Services Fees and your Coach Business Kit, which comes with everything you need to begin earning income.

Do I need to be a fitness expert?

No, you don’t need to be a fitness or weight-loss expert to become a Beachbody Coach. You just need to be ready to commit to changing your life.

Do I need to be a slick salesperson?

Not at all – the fact is, just about everybody already wants to get fit or lose weight. And our products can get them there – we have thousands of real-life Success Stories to prove it! To make money as a Beachbody Coach, all you have to do is let people know that they can finally achieve the health, fitness, and weight-loss goals they’ve dreamed of.

What kinds of help and support will I receive?

Once you become a Beachbody Coach, you’ll be part of a whole network of successful Coaches who are there for you to learn from and share with. You’ll also get full access to your online office, which has everything you need to market and manage your business with ease – including your own sales website and email account, a full set of sales and marketing tools, and extensive training guides and videos. In addition, our Coach Relations team is available to answer your questions via email or over the phone. And you’ll have a Coach of your own for extra motivation and guidance.

Will I have to purchase products for resale?

Unlike marketing programs that require you to buy a lot of products in order to participate, the Coach Opportunity has no inventory requirements. If you do want to purchase products for your own use or resale, you’ll get them at a significant discount.

Will I have to handle product inventory, billing, shipping, or customer service?

No – when customers purchase products through your website, we take care of the rest.

Is it easy to set up my website?

Setting up and customizing your Beachbody Coach Website is low-tech and simple! We provide you with an easy-to-use system that allows you to add text and photos (or you can just use ours), and you can choose from a number of Beachbody marketing banners to help make sure your site is viewed.

How does Beachbody promote its products?

We spend millions of dollars every week advertising our home fitness programs on the major TV stations and cable networks. (You’ve probably seen our famous infomercials for programs such as P90X, Turbo Jam, and Hip Hop Abs, as well as our magazine and Internet ads.) Millions of people already know about Beachbody, and every time we run an infomercial, we get thousands of new customers. We want those customers to shop through your store, so you get the commission on those sales!

How much of a discount will I get on my own Beachbody products?

As Beachbody Coach, you receive a 25% discount on all Beachbody products available in the Team Beachbody store.

Taking Care of Yourself First So You Can Give

Dear Boys and Girls,

I pride myself in being a good coach and a good teacher. This past month and half have been difficult because of all my traveling and the many transitions in my life. Let's see, in May alone, I traveled from Dallas to Santa Monica twice (once by car), then to New York and back to Dallas. Then I moved to Santa Monica for the summer, after driving here from Dallas, and had to get settled into my writing routine right away.

During all that coming and going, I had to (or at least I felt that I had to) juggle all the balls in the air, and continue to be a good coach, good teacher, good friend, good girlfriend, good daughter. But, instinctively I knew that in order to fully give of yourself, you have to take care of yourself first. When you are depleted and run down, you have very little to offer.

So, I took a step back from coaching for just a bit. Instead of answering my emails within my usual 24 hours, I would take a day or two and sometimes three. Instead of constantly reaching out to my team, I decided that they would be okay without me playing the cheerleader role. Instead of feeling like I had to hold up the world, I decided that the world would hold itself up while I recharged.

I still showed up on the message boards and on my blog, but I know I took a bit of distance to nurture and take care of myself.

I turned inward and focused on my fitness. My traveling and stress made me slip more than few times with the eating part of my routine, but I got up each and every single time I fell off the wagon. Seriously, I can hardly believe my results.

Finally, finally, yes, yes, yes, I am returning back to me and feeling the need to reach out to others. Oh, recharging is a beautiful thing! I am once again ready to give!

I'm excited to continue coaching men and women to fitness. I'm excited about building our team. I'm excited about my writing and life in general.

Woopee!! I'm back to me!!

Cayman Island Contest for Coaches on my Team!!!

Dear Boys and Girls,

This contest is open for existing coaches on my team and for those who wish to sign up to become coaches either with myself or any of my coaches.

Last year, my coach KEVIN KANE ran a coach challenge/contest in which the winner won a trip to the Cayman Islands. FIVE out of the SIX people whose names went in the hat for a live drawing were from my our downline. Who won? Josh Spence. (see his beach picture below!) He spent 7 days in Kevin's $2000/night condo all for doing what he does best: coaching people to fitness and helping them pass it on as coaches. If you are doubtful, ask Josh himself!

Kevin is bringing the contest back and it is BETTER THAN EVER because you have MORE THAN 1 CHANCE TO WIN!! Guys, listen up: OUR TEAM ROCKS. You can do this and I will help you any way I can.

Can you really win? What are your chances? They're great, I tell you!!
Being successful in coaching is about TALKING TO PEOPLE, HELPING PEOPLE, and trying out DIFFERENT STRATEGIES to see what works for you. As a coach on my team, you have my full support.

I don't mean to sound like a commercial, but realllly, there has never been a better time to get your BeachBody business going.

SO, let the contest begin!!!! If you have any questions, please email me at coachbarbie@getfitwithbarbie.com

To sign up as a coach for less than a $100 a month, click here.

CHALLENGE & CONTEST RULES:

Most Excellent Fit Doc Group Coaches:
Last year we did our first Fit Doc Group coach challenge and it really was one of the big things that started our team on its explosive growth path. Coach Josh won a trip to Cayman Islands!
So if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Time for another growth spurt!

Announcing:
Doc's Great Summer Coaching Challenge!
Just like last year, the prize is great!
You and up to 4 guests will be my guest for 7 nights at the fabulous Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman - voted 2009 Luxury Travel Advisor - Best Luxury Family Resort in the World and 2008 Condé Nast Traveler - Readers' Choice Awards #1 Resort in the Caribbean.

This incredible private poolside 2,400 sq. ft. residence is exquisitely furnished with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, and a private patio overlooking a lush tropical garden, just a few steps from the pool and world-famous Seven Mile Beach.

The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, in the heart of Seven Mile Beach, is truly one of the finest resorts in the world. Among its features are Blue Tip, a world-class Greg Norman-designed golf course; Silver Rain, the first La Prairie Spa in the Caribbean; two restaurants by acclaimed chef Eric Ripert from New York's Le Bernardin; a Nick Bollettieri designed tennis program tennis with both clay and grass courts; the Ambassadors of the Environment Ritz Kids program designed by Jean-Michel Cousteau; and the incomparable service of the Ritz-Carlton.

The condo normally rents out for as much as $2,000 or more per night! But one lucky coach will stay on me for a week! Sorry, airfare not included (See below).
Contest rules:
The contest runs from June 6th through August 29th, 2009.
To qualify to win, you must:
1. Be a Beachbody coach in my downline.
If you are not a coach yet, what are you waiting for? Sign up with the person who showed you this!
If you got this as an email directly from me, then you are most likely in my downline.
If you are already a coach but are unsure if you are in my downline, shoot me an email(Kevin@TheFitDoc.com). I'll be happy to check for you. (If you are downline from Barbie or Rochelle, then you are downline from me.)
2. Talk to people.
Document that you've talked with 25 or more people about Beachbody products or coaching. Email does not count, it must be in person, over the phone, via Skype, or some other live verbal method of communication. You can initiate contact by email, but cannot count a contact until you've actually talked to them.
3. Build your business.
Personally sponsor two new coaches during the contest period. You and your 2 new coaches must all be active by the end of the day (Midnight Pacific time) on August 29th.
Achieving the above will give you an entry in the drawing for a trip-of-a lifetime to the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. One coach will be picked to win the trip from all the eligible entries.
Chances of winning will be related to the total number of eligible entries. This is not open to all 20,000+ coaches in Team Beachbody. This is only to my downline- about 300 or so. Of that group, not everyone will qualify. In fact for last year's contest we only had about 10 eligible entries! Your chances to win will be phenomenal. You may never have such good odds for such a big prize again!

Stack the odds: Build your business bigger!
If you want to improve your odds even more, just add more coaches. After you meet the initial qualifications, every additional coach that joins your team will earn you one additional entry in the drawing.

How to enter:
Email me your list of at least 25 contacts with the date of contact for each person along with the names of all your active coaches who have joined during the contest dates (6/5-8/29). Email must be received by me before midnight Pacific on 8/29. Use this form if you like, or make your own. We'll do the drawing shortly after the contest ends- date and time TBA- live over the internet.

Last year's winner Coach Josh Spencer on Seven Mile Beach.

Could it get any better?
Of course. If at least 10 different coaches qualify for the drawing, with at least 6 coming from each of my left and right legs, I'll pay for your airfare! Up to $800. (Multiple entries in the drawing by the same coach only count as one coach for this purpose.)
Use this contest to help grow your business!
Use the contest as a conversation starter. Tell people that you are trying to win a trip to Cayman Islands. You need to talk to at least 25 people about this cool way to lose weight while making money at the same time.

This is also great opportunity for coaches to build their Beachbody business quickly. Every new coach you sign up is automatically eligible to enter the contest, too! The sooner they sign up, the more time they have to complete the eligibility requirements.

Other rules:
1. Don't sue me. By entering the contest, you agree not to sue me for any reason in the world (relating to this contest). Ever! I'm doing this as a benefit to my coaches. It is supposed to be fun and help you build your business. Not a source of stress and liability for me!
2. Don't wreck the place. This is my personal condo. Please treat it well!
3. Keep it clean. My condo is for sale. If you are the winner, staying there for the week, you must keep it clean and agree to allow my real estate agent in for showings if any are requested.
4. Since the condo is for sale, it might sell before you have a chance to stay there. If that is the case, I'll agree to put up 2 people at the Westin or Hyatt (my discretion) just down the beach. The odds of that, in the current real estate market, are pretty small.
5. If I get a renter during the time you are scheduled to stay, I may have to change your scheduled dates of stay or put you up at the Westin or Hyatt. Again, unlikely, but possible. please be flexible with me.
6. Travel will be at a mutually agreed upon date between Sept. 27 and Nov. 21st, 2009. I may be able to extend these dates, but I won't know until later in the year.
6. I may change or add rules at my discretion.
7. Don't forget rules 1 and 2.
Good luck!

The Rule of 80/20

Dear Boys and Girls,

I'm home sweet home in New York City. This time, it's both for business and pleasure, and boy has that been interesting!

Quite a few of my friends who know I have a lot on my plate this week have "offered" to show up to my business opportunity event tomorrow, but have always added the disclaimer, "...but, I just want to see you, I don't want to be a coach."

My response has always been the same: "I won't have time to socialize with my friends that day. I'm there to work with prospects and with my coaches, but I'm sure we can figure something out some other time that week. I really want to see you, too."

One of the questions that coaches most frequently ask me is: "How do you approach family and friends about BeachBody, both with the fitness and the business? They always seem to put up a wall."

My response might surprise you: I don't approach them! When it comes to family and friends, I let them approach me!

Before I go on, let me provide my own disclaimer: I love my family and friends.

That said, BeachBody is offering folks the opportunity to get physically and financially FIT, but that opportunity can only become a reality for folks who are willing to put in the work. The truth is, I work hard to achieve my fitness goals, to help others achieve theirs, and to help my team grow. Yes, it takes work, and for me, it is worth every ounce of effort!

When it comes to BeachBody, my energy and efforts are best invested in working with people who want to make either the products or business work for them.

There are soooooo many people out there who are READY to make the commitment to their fitness and who are ready to seize the coaching opportunity. For better or for worse, many of these folks don't include our family and friends, and that's okay. This is my dream and I am not in the business of imposing my dreams on others.

That said, tonight I heard my mom on the phone inviting a certain family friend to the coaching opportunity tomorrow. I could hardly believe it. My mom, a believer?! At dinner tonight, she pleaded with me to invite this friend personally. "Oh, mom, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink."

Asking me to ask a reluctant person to attend my coaching opportunity event took me wayyyyyy out of my comfort zone, but there's little I wouldn't do for my mom. I know her heart is in the right place. Of course, I caved.

Oh, family, the irony!

Happy Mother's Day! Your partner in success,

Meet Kathy, Super Fit at 49!

My biography

Hi. My name is Kathy. I was never very athletic, competitive or adventurous. I was coordinated from years of dancing, so when I got to high school I joined the dance team instead of playing sports. Like most girls my age, I considered myself fat when I wasn’t – but I wasn’t fit either.

After college I did lots of aerobic/dance classes and I managed to maintain my weight. After getting married, I fell into some pretty bad habits. I ate huge dinners and drank alcohol every night, most nights out-eating and out-drinking my husband. I would run with a friend during my lunch hour, but it was not enough to outrun my bad evening habits.

Then we started our family and I became the mother of two sons. By the grace of God, we have all been blessed with good health. I enjoyed my family and my home, but let my physical health slide. Over the years I put on weight and became more and more inactive.

I purchased P90X and Slim in 6 from infomercials. When I found the community threads, I found the support I needed to complete the programs. I also own Slim Series, Turbo Jam, Power Half Hour, P90X and Chalean Extreme. I am far from a perfectionist and have not done my rounds exactly as laid out, but that was not necessary. Getting great results does not require that. The important thing to realize is that this is a process and a lifestyle change. Now I consider myself an athlete-in-training and can not imagine going back to my old ways. My goals have changed from losing weight to becoming more fit. I want to help others become fit too and became an Independent Beach Body Coach. Being fit has empowered me to step out of my comfort zone. I joined a recreational Dodgeball team and find myself thinking how I can play better the next week.

I comfortably maintain my weight between 130 and 135 lbs, have worn a bikini twice on vacations, and look forward to eating healthy foods and getting stronger every day. My husband joins in often in my workouts and it has made us happier and brought us closer.

Today, 4-16-09, I began round two of P90X. I am looking forward to being a fit 50 year old in November

My transformation Story

I don’t remember when I purchased P90 and Slim in 6. I would use them, see some results, but quit the program. In June of 2007 I decided I could not go to my 30 year high school reunion weighing 180 lbs. I began working out to Slim in 6. I remember I was about to fall back in my old pattern and drop it. What kind of crazy people can finish four weeks of Burn It Up - Debbie Siebers' crown jewel workout? Well, I eventually found the community message boards and found that many people do indeed do the programs as designed. No more excuses. I needed to toughen up if I wanted the results I was seeing posted. I started posting on Barbie's Slim Spot and have never stopped. I quit eating at night and cut out all alcohol. I managed to lose 15 lbs before my reunion.

I continued on with Slim Series, and credit that program with building my endurance and literally shrinking my body everywhere. My results from Slim Series led to one of my favorite moments – being asked at a party by a young doctor/friend if I have any loose skin. I remember laughing and saying “No, thanks to Debbie.” I will always be grateful to Beachbody and Debbie for those workouts. My screen name in the BB community is Readitup, and as a children’s librarian, it is a tribute to how Debbie’s programs have helped me bust the stereotype many have of librarians.

After the Slim Series, I was encouraged by others to try P90X – a program that I had convinced myself was too hard for me. The summer of 2008, I was ready to try P90X. As imperfect as my round was, I was always motivated. I was doing pushups and learning to like them. I continued on with Chalean Extreme and with Chalene’s encouragement, I began to consider myself an athlete for the first time in my life.

I have never stopped posting on the threads or pushing play. I have gone from 180 lbs to 132 lbs and feel so empowered. I know this is a cliché, but if I can do this than anyone can do it. I am not a perfectionist and do not let little missteps mess me up, because I have changed my lifestyle and am not going back to my old ways. I have evolved and realize that I do not do this to look good at an upcoming event, but to get strong and to stay healthy.

Today, 4-16-09, I began my second round of P90X and I am using a pull-up bar for this round. I will turn 50 in November and my goal is to be able to do 50 straight standard pushups and 5 unassisted pull-ups - one pushup for each year and one pull-up for each decade.

Dallas/Ft. Worth, Here Comes Barbie!

Dear Boys and Girls,

I am READY for Saturday's BeachBody Coaching Opportunity Event tomorrow!

Today, I thought I'd share some pictures of the Coaches Summit held by BeachBody in Los Angeles, California this past March. It was amazing to get together with like-minded people to share in the BeachBody dream!

Here I am with my boyfriend Jason, fellow Two Star Diamond Coach. That's right, we're not afraid to Dream Extreme!

Here I am with the boys. Look at my arms!!

The Corporate Office asked me to do a mini-presentation at the Summit...in front of 750 people. Guys, I was soooooooo nervous. I think I kept tossing my microphone around.

The cute blond one is Traci, my coach's coach. Um, she made $370,000 last year helping other people get fit. When there are so many examples of people who are living the dream, I ask: Why not me? Yes, I am making it happen.

This is Carl Deikeler, CEO of BeachBody and myself. Why is he wearing my glasses? I can't see!!

Here I am with one of my coaches, Heather, and her husband Micheal. And that's Jason and me. Goodness, am I ALWAYS posing? Ooops!

And here I am with Judy, another one of our other AWESOME coaches!! She's also a Million Dollar Body Game Success Story Winner! She's lost over 80 lbs!

Alright, it's 9:00 am and I have lots to do today!

I hope to see some of you at tomorrow's event. Here are the details again:
